During the Combat Phase, any of your units which are able to fight will appear in a
dialogue box at the bottom of the screen. Select the unit you wish to use in an attack by
clicking its name in the list. On the map, it will be highlighted in white, and any
tagrets it may attack will be highlighted in green, as shown below.
Select the target you wish to attack by clicking its icon on the map. The target will
then be highlighted in red, as shown below. Choose your targets carefully -- each unit may
only engage one enemy unit per turn. After selecting a target, click the words
"Execute Attack" in the dialogue box.
When you have fought with all the units that you wish to, click the words "End
Attack Phase" in the lower right of the screen.
Defense
Sometimes you will engage in combat first, other times your opponent will be first. In
either case, you will be notified that one of your units is under attack. When this
occurs, you will want to counter-attack. Many times, a unit will have no available help,
so you will want to click "Defend Self" in the dialogue box that appears. Other
times, you may have other units available to defend. If you wish to use one of these other
units, click its name in the list, and select "Use Defender." Then click the
word "Continue."
